About
InTandem was founded by Anna Dzwonecka and Richard George, architects with over 30 years combined experience in delivering architecture.
InTandem is driven by curious exploration and a collaborative approach to our work - the name was inspired by our 1985 Claud Butler tandem bike.
We have experience ranging from one-off houses to mixed-use developments, offices and pavilions. Regardless of scale, from the reconfiguration of a home to developing a new urban space we are keen to work closely with clients to deliver their projects.
Services
Concept Design
We analyse sites, consider local conditions, perform initial space planning and massing design to understand the goals of each project and to refine the brief.
Sustainable Design
We consider and apply sustainable design principles to enhance the comfort and thermal performance of the building. We offer Passive House Designer services.
Interior Design
We can offer interior design services including areas such as kitchens, bathrooms and joinery that compliments the architecture to provide a cohesive whole.
Planning Design
We prepare drawings and information, factoring in local policies and context, then submit an application and engage in discussions to obtain planning permission.
Detail Design
Complex technical details are resolved, projects coordinated with consultant teams, products specified and packages provided for tender and construction.
Site Support
We offer site support and provide setting out information, advice on building standards compliance, and other construction related queries.
